There is no such animal as qi disease and it does not exist.
If it is claimed to exist, then it must be defined "en toto'.

Based on my experience, there is a thing called an advrse symptom/adverse event that is part and parcel of incorrect practice and undiagnosed mental or psychotic event manifesting in the guidelines of said practice. Sadly, when the designation of qigong was given, it somehow appeared to suggest an external mode of 'forced' practice coming from without to within through breath and other means as opposed to the 'natural' spiritual Daoist and Buddhist system of yangshengong, neigong, neidangong, etc.

Someone mentioned that playing yangshsnggong (qigong) should follow the process of making tea! There is a process of pre praparation, preparation, getting the tea, cup, allowing it to settle (tea) as opposed to pushing the bag into the water for it to either get done faster, or stronger, etc. Let it flow!
