Ginger root is a good start. I find a combination of different rice grains cooked for the appropriate times (add the ones that take longest to cook first to the pot and the others at the different times) works well, this releases energy over time as the different grains are digested at a different rate. I think garlic is also good as well as peppers.

Any solar-powered food is good for energy. ie, Raw organic vegetables.

And - If you are over 40 years old, you could add ginseng to your diet. Ginseng promotes the creation of the hormone testosterone, which in turn boosts your metabolism of food and fat into energy, aka Qi.

Nature is a best way to get energy because it is 100% pure and healthy. Fruits and drinks like juice, energy drinks, soda drink etc are best to get energy.
Energy mean getting vitamins and minerals that can be get from eating meat, fruits, vegetables and other foods items.
