My reason for my response, that baquazhang qigong does not exist, is that its present body of knowledge, did not include what we call qigong today. The "qigong" designation is a new and ongoing reference to recapsulate what was once called neigong/neiyanggong, etc and as such, each master developed their own "qigong' relative to their experience, education, exposure and vision. If I were to examine the qigong associated with baquazhang teacher Xie Peiqi (using him as the pinnacle of study and perfection) and reference another teacher or master, I am sure that even the basic student will be able to 'sense' a distinct level of skill and experience in who he is looking at and make some valid comparison(s).
Not that one is better than the other but which one's energy resonates within the person who is looking at and understands (more or less) what he sees!
