TCM Language

One last question: The terms Chi, Jing etc. What research has been done to understand them in current scientific language. I would assume Jing are the enzymes we are born with, Dr. Yang describes Chi as bioelectricity etc.

What biological terms do you need to know to understand the language of tcm?

I think we've spoken a lot on here about what sorts of research goes on in the scientific world, but I figure from an individual aspect a background in some Western neuroanatomy might be useful for better understanding TCM.

Lately I've been trying to improve my knowledge of bodily systems that I wasn't too sure about, and I find that helps a ton when it comes to better understanding TCM mechanisms. For instance, I was never really well versed on the Lymphatic system, and actually I've found that most of what was taught in school about it was either oversimplified or simply incorrect.
