"the real deal"..well our jo, it was on beeb three... :) that was intriguing when he made the bowl ring. i suppose correct pitch can shatter glass...perhaps it has the effect of having one's ears boxed, temporarily stunned ?

what dillman exsposed is nothing knew, tuite jitsu, kyusu jitsu or dim mak what ever you want to call it.He studied accupunter and the destructive cycle then market it at the right time. What he reveled to the public opened the eyes of many martial artist to exsplore the deeper aspects of the art. This was a good thing, but these guys are clowns and should be asshamed of the selves for what the do just for fame and money. How do I know I trained with one of his top students for a wile,Mark Klien.Mark is an exceptional martial artist, and what they teach is an eye oppener to some of the hidden bunkai. But when I trained there they preached there are no blocks in karate and that every tecknique was only against a single opponent with out weapons and every strike was to an accupunture point, come on there is much more to it then that. They teach the highest level of bukai with none of the most important training that should come way befor this knowlage of bunkai like good sound basics and hard training. For those with some real training can take what is usefull and leave behind all the rest of the none sence .But the training is a joke they do not train, they barly break a sweat. From what I have seen most could never hurt a fly,no power no idea how to transmit the chi or ki,and no fighting spirit, no nothing not even a good cardio work out. a real wast of time and money.I left after witnessing these clowns hitting others on points and trying to make the other sick.Infact all shoul beware if you go to a seminar, they ask for an assitant walk around talking then strike the poor guy when he is unaware or ready.I have never seen or heard of dillman or any of his students pulling off a knock out strike in a sparring or combat situation. And as for these no point knock out, come on!can you beleave they make a living selling this dren.I would like to see them try that with me,or any of the other real martial artists I know.

I think DOM has summed up the situation nicely. Those no touch knockouts are a bunch of garbage unless the recipient of the "no touch" believes in it to the point where he/she eseentially allows it to happen. I suspect the mechanism behind the no touch KO is more akin to faith healing/religious KOs than projection of chi. Any school/martial art that does't involve a heck of a lot of "kung fu"- literal definition/translation here- is very suspect.
the "environment" is not separate from who you are
watch birds-great for training the eyes!

I believe there is such art where people can gather chi and hit you with it, but not like that. The one I heard was there was a monk in ming dynesty that can blow out candles from some distance or a thin wall but thats it. Nothing powerful like killing birds or make you body collapse. Nor that shouting or shooting fireball like position is apply, but rather a soft quiet push.
I don't know... maybe next time they prove by stunting a cow with it... poor cow though :(

NOtouch is real.... in aactual conflict i wouldnt resort to it though i trained in Kyusho for a week with Evan Pantazi and he used a combonation of sound and energy to do the knowck out his theory wich i beleive is the real reason is he sends his energy (electrical) into his opponent to shortcircuit the brain and the sound works in other forms i never got big into sound im a quiet person but we ALL know sounds can make us do wierd things... I have been looking to learn Dim Mak for a long time doe s anyone know any teacher that are legitamate in TaiChi?

ya kushu jitsu is real but Dillman and his followers are for the most part a bunch of clowns selling nonesence for money. They strike only those who are easily lead and are follow them. They also strike them when they are standing still unaware of what is going to happen or when they are going to be hit.I trained at one of his top students schools for a wile,I had to leave because of the nonesence and the fact that they did very little training.Mostly lip service goofing off, laughing, joking, and never working up a sweat.A pure example of a Mcdojo

great test hypothesis

Postby yeniseri » Fri May 18, 2007 11:27 am

This is an excellent test case for the next UFC next season!
Check this out:

For the next season, showcase 2 groups of fighters:
1. Group 1: MMA (the usual guys)
2 Group 2 Guys who say they have skill in "No touch knockout"

Guess who will be the winners!
I already know! Can you tell the outcome?

I don't like it, simply because they are copying/imitating what the Chinese martial arts have been doing for a long time, and putting it in some "near-supernatural" light. Like you can no-touch knock out, and like knocking people out is THAT easy. It's not that easy....at all.

On top of that, the Dillman guys don't have any solid whole-body movement or body method. It is very karate-esque, but you can tell the intention is just not there. The body does not follow their intention either. It is very pathetic...I have seen good Karate/kempo, and this is definitely not it.

Also chi doesn't really "leave" the body per-se. At least not in my opinion. it is chi that creates the initial movement (from intention), and then guides the physical force in a perfect spiral into the opponent (during fajing). I think it is a misconception, to think that you are "implanting" chi into an opponent. It makes people think that you can project, throw, or knock people out with "chi." Sure everything is interconnected, but to believe that someone has the ability to manipulate chi in your brain and knock you out is nonsense, perhaps it is the power of suggestion, you are allowing somebody (or yourself) to do it.

Have you guys ever heard of the Yin Fist arts? supposedly you can project your qi outside your body through the laogong cavity like expanding the guardian qi but forcefully, so you can hit someone without physically making contact. I've never heard of it being used in combat, but it's an advanced stage of candle gong (the technique where you strike at a candle from several inches away). I don't believe in no-touch knockouts, that's probably psychosomatic, but I do belive in the Yin Fist arts.
Anything goes.
