Hi i have been training in Aikido for several years and am looking to spice things up a bit, and i kind of find myself drawn to Chin Na and Shuai Jaoi. What do you think? Will that give me the kick i need?

You would probably know more than me about throws and grabs as they have only been a part of my training but it should open up a broader bass to the arts you already practice.
I would recommend mixing taiji with that as it would give a nice form and structure to the skills you have and want to develop.
Grate stuff though, I love both and can see a judo background being an asset. It will give you and infinite amount of material to explore and Dr Yang's books are a good and clear repository of technique, you should have little trouble learning them with a partner and your background.
