SEMINAR/WORKSHOP PROGRAM
For deeper practice in any style of Taijiquan, Pushing Hands is a must. Developing that connection with your partner is essential to finding your center, your partner's center, and furthering your martial skill and understanding. Intermediate-to-advanced Taijiquan students need to develop sensitivity, Listening Jin, to an opponent's flow of power, and learn how to neutralize it to counterattack.The seminar will include:

- Peng-Lu-Ji-An Standard Routine
- Silk Reeling Yin-Yang Symbol Coiling
- All Taiji students who would like to get a deeper understanding and explore training with a partner.

WHO'S TEACHING?
Dr. Yang, Jwing Ming will conduct the lecture and demonstrate the exercises of this seminar with the help of YMAA Boston instructors. With over 40 years of teaching experience and over 50 publications, Dr. Yang is regarded as one of the foremost Qigong and martial arts masters in the world today.WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
This seminar is open to everybody interested in learning or improving their Pushing Hands practice. It is suitable for practitioners of all Taiji styles.There are no prerequisites to attend. Previous martial arts experience is a plus, but not required. Attendance is limited so register soon. This seminar will benefit:
WHAT SHOULD I BRING?
There are no special requirements for the Taiji Pushing Hands Seminar. We recommend that you bring loose practice clothing (t-shirt and pants) and a pair of indoor shoes unless you prefer working in bare feet.TRAVELING TO BOSTON
YMAA Boston is located approximately 20 minutes South of downtown Boston. If you are traveling by car please visit YMAA Boston webpage for detailed driving instructions.Free on-street parking is available and there are several paid lots nearby.
A good alternative is to use the MBTA subway transportation system. YMAA Boston is about a 3-minute walk from the Forest Hill Orange Line station. Visit MBTA website for more information.
If you are flying to Boston, you can use the MBTA subway system to get to YMAA instead of by taxi. After arriving at Boston’s Logan Airport take the free airport shuttle bus (Route #22, #33 or #55) to the MBTA ("T") Airport station. Take the Inbound Blue Line train to State station. At State station board the Orange Line outbound train to Forest Hills station. At the Forest Hills station go upstairs and proceed straight to exit the terminal on the Hyde Park Avenue side. Once outside and at the top of the landing, turn right, proceed downstairs, walk to the intersection, cross the street, and walk 2 blocks right to YMAA Boston. We are right across the Forest Hills parking lot.
