Doug Cook holds a 6th Dan Black Belt in the Korean martial art of taekwondo and is certified as an instructor and in rank by the United States Taekwondo Association and the Kukkiwon. He is a six-time gold medalist having frequently participated in the New York State Championships and the New York State Governor's Cup Competitions.

Tae Kwon Do is considered one of the oldest martial arts in the world — estimated at over 2,000 years old. Tae Kwon Do literally means the "art of hand and foot fighting." It is one of the fastest growing martial arts today, due in part to the efforts of Bok Man Kim, an 11th Degree black belt who has pioneered the international development of traditional Tae Kwon Do.

Richard Chun, Ph.D. began studying Taekwondo at the age of 11 under two highly respected teachers in Seoul, Korea: Chong Soo Hong and Ki Whang Kim.
